My name is Bethany, and I am from Ottawa, Ontario. I have always had a passion for language and words, especially writing. Whether it be poetry, journals or stories, keeping track of my life through words is something I have always enjoyed.

I've often thought about starting a blog in the past, but I never had a reason. My trip to China seems like the perfect time to start blogging. I think it will be a fun experience, and I love the fact that I can share it with my friends and family. Maybe it will be a one-time thing that I can look back on in years to come, as a great reminder of my wonderful adventure. Or maybe, this experience will inspire me to keep blogging in the future.
